The principle of offsetting marks at the University of Orléans
Depending on the regulations for specific study programmes, marks may be offset between courses in the same course unit and the same semester, with no eliminatory mark. This means that if students have not passed a course, they can still pass the course unit if the average mark for all the courses in the course unit is 10/20 or higher.
