Learning Outcomes
OB1: Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of road engineering and geometric road design.
OB2: Identify and characterise road networks and their functional requirements.
OB3: Develop basic road project solutions considering geometric, functional, economic, and environmental criteria.
OB4: Apply fundamental concepts of geotechnics, pavement design, and road drainage to transportation infrastructures.
OB5: Analyse the interaction between road projects and other engineering specialities involved in infrastructure development.
OB6: Identify and evaluate other transportation infrastructures, including railways, airports, and ports.
OB7: Apply engineering knowledge to analyse and propose efficient transportation infrastructure solutions.
