Contents
The contents (CP) of the course, both theoretical and practical, covers the following subjects:
CP1_ Electrical Quantities.
CP2_ DC circuits bases and analysis methods.
CP3_ Metrology and measuring instrumentation (analog and digital).
Learning Outcomes
Global goals
At the end of the semester to succeed in this course the student must be able to:
- Analyze DC electrical circuits based on their model.
- Implement the circuits based on their models and use the digital instrumentation to measure the values of the
electrical parameters.
- To know the functioning of the basic electronic devices
Consequently, to be able to understand the measured values and their limitations, the student has to know the
basic concepts of metrology.
Specific goals (OB)
At the end of the semester to succeed in this course the student must be able to:
OB1- Choose the most adequate method for the analysis of a given circuit.
OB2 - Justify the behavior of the electric components.
OB3 - Justify the values obtained in the measurements and calculate the respective error.
