In accordance with the project statement validated by the Course Unit Coordinator (RUC) and accepted by the student (with approval being subject to the conditions defined in the LEI-PROJ Procedure), as well as by the supervisor and the external advisor (in cases where the project is carried out within an organization).
Due to its specific characteristics, this course unit contributes to consolidating the knowledge, skills, and competences of the final-year student and future professional in computer engineering. Within the scope of this course unit, the student is expected to demonstrate autonomy, responsibility, and adaptability in the context of computer engineering.
There is also ongoing supervision throughout the semester by the RUC.

Learning Outcomes

This unit was designed to apply and verify the knowledge, capabilities and competences that the LEI-ISEP undergraduate must have.
By the end of this course the student should be able to:
CO1. Interpret the problem to be solved, adopting engineering sciences and best practices
CO2. Synthesize existing knowledge of engineering sciences and best practices for the resolution of the problem
CO 3. Identify, analyze and evaluate different approaches to problem solving. Recognize the importance of non-technical, social, health and safety, environmental, economic and industrial constraints.
CO 4. Design a solution to the problem by adopting appropriate engineering sciences and best practices
CO 5. Construct the solution to the problem by applying appropriate engineering sciences and best practices
CO 6. Evaluate the designed/implemented solution by applying appropriate engineering sciences and best practices
CO 7. Describe and present in rigorous form, the processes and results of the previous points, adopting appropriate engineering sciences and best practices
