Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit aims to provide students with the skills to enable:
-(A) Develop parts and assemblies in solid modelling;create parts and assemblies settings; import and export parts and assemblies in different formats; verify physical characteristics of parts / assemblies; create photorealistic images and animations and generate technichal drawings through the use of software;
-(B) Perform simulations of static analyses of parts, interpret, and analyze the results of simulations of static analysis;
-(C) Perform simulations analyses of mechanisms; interpret and analyze the results of the simulations analyses of mechanisms;
-(D) Interpret the CNC language Create , analyze, simulate and generate machining programs;
-(E) Know and understand different additive manufacturing systems;Use software to transform CAD models into programs with CNC instructions for 3D printing Through FDM processes.
