Learning Outcomes
This subject aims to provide students with the knowledge and ability to carry out the basic activities of project management. At the end of the course, students must demonstrate that they have acquired generic knowledge about Project Management, in its theoretical and practical aspects, in accordance with the international reference PMBOK Guide, and be able to carry out project planning and control tasks with Microsoft Project.
At the end of the curricular unit, the student should:
CO1. Understand the main concepts of Project Management, such as the differences between projects, programs, operations and products and the structures of Organizations and be able to use different models of project life cycle methodologies, recognizing their advantages and disadvantages.
CO2. Be able to use processes, methods and techniques for planning and controlling scope, time and cost and other areas of knowledge.
CO3. Use the main features of Microsoft Project or another alternative tool in project planning and control.
CO4. Develop communication techniques with stakeholders in a project context, knowing the main techniques and strategies available and the main moments of interaction.
