Learning Outcomes
Enable the student to use techniques and methodologies of optimization and improvement of production processes in industrial environments including the identification and analysis of alternatives in decision making.
The student after attending this course will be able to:
OB1 - Understand and characterize production systems, their information needs and criteria for management support;
OB2 - Understand the different stages of the modeling of business processes and their associated functions;
OB3 - Analyze, understand and be able to use the various models and techniques to solve the main problems of management and improvement of processes and operations;
OB4 - Differentiate the various models of production management and production processes and recognize forms of integration;
OB5 - Interpret the new challenges of information management in productive processes.
