The Economic and Technical Logistics programme is offered by the Faculty of Logistics (FL UM) at the University of Maribor, located in Celje. FL UM is the leading educational and research institution in logistics in Slovenia, with a 97.7% graduate employment rate. The programme combines economic, technical and managerial knowledge to prepare students for leadership roles in logistics, supply chain management, and transport operations.
Qualification
Graduates receive the academic title Bachelor in Economic and Technical Logistics. The programme is offered at professional (VS) and university (UN) level, as well as at master's (MAG) and doctoral (DR) levels.
Structure and Distribution of Credits
The 1st-cycle programme lasts 3 years and comprises 180 ECTS credits, covering compulsory and elective courses in logistics systems, transport, warehousing, supply chain management, ICT in logistics, packaging, and green logistics.
Credits earned abroad through Erasmus+ are recognised on the basis of a Learning Agreement following the Lisbon Recognition Convention and ECTS guidelines. The faculty study commission processes recognition requests within 4 weeks.
Qualification Requirements
Students must complete all prescribed study obligations and defend a final thesis. The programme emphasises practical and applied learning with close links to industry.

Students are encouraged to participate in Erasmus+ exchanges. FL UM has active partnerships with logistics and business faculties across Europe. Credits are recognised on the basis of a Learning Agreement.
Mobility windows are available in the 2nd and 3rd year of the 1st-cycle programme.
Work-based Learning
The programme emphasises practical, innovative and internationally oriented study. Students engage with real logistics problems through case studies, field visits to logistics companies, and a compulsory seminar work involving contact with a transport company. The faculty is located close to major logistics infrastructure in the Celje region.
