The Law programme is offered by the Faculty of Law (PF) of the University of Maribor, founded in 1960. The faculty has evolved into a leading institution for legal education in Slovenia, offering internationally comparable Bologna programmes since 2009. The research priority of the Faculty of Law is "Legal Aspects of the Digital Economy." The faculty provides modern research facilities, access to international legal databases, and is internationally recognised for its expertise in EU law, digital economy law, and comparative law.

  • Interpret and apply national and EU legislation, case law, and legal doctrine
  • Draft legal documents, contracts, and judicial decisions
  • Conduct independent legal research using national and international databases
  • Understand the interplay between national law and EU and international law
  • Communicate professionally in legal proceedings and advisory contexts
