Presentation

The Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts is designed to educate and train professional artists and creative cultural professionals.

Focus and Experience:

  • Combines practical studio work in different visual art media with theoretical and analytical study of art.
  • Encourages personal creativity and artistic experimentation, helping students build a professional artistic portfolio.
  • Includes a Final Degree Project (a substantial original work or research project completed in the final year).

Main Objective

 Its main objective is to equip students with the ability to identify, understand, and engage with the problems and processes of art through both artistic creation and critical analysis. Students work on developing their own artistic language, creative thinking, and practical skills across various artistic disciplines.

    Found mainly in the first years, these provide foundational knowledge in art, visual culture, and related theoretical and practical areas.
  • Compulsory Subjects: 138 ECTS
    Core subjects that define the degree, focused on artistic practice, techniques, theory, and project development across different media.
  • Elective Subjects: 24 ECTS
    Allow students to specialize or broaden their training according to their artistic interests.
  • Final Degree Project (TFG): 18 ECTS
    An individual project completed in the final year, integrating artistic creation and critical reflection.
