Joint Bachelor's Degree on Business Administration and Management (BAM) and in Law
Presentation
The new configuration of the university degrees, shorter in time and with a more flexible academic structure than the previous five-year degrees, facilitate what not so long ago was almost unthinkable: that a student can combine two degrees and achieve both certifications in just five or six years, fulfilling a deep knowledge both in Business Administration and Management (BAM) and in Law.
One of the academic and professional fields where there are more connections and where a joint program can be more useful is on the triangle formed by the legal, business and economic fields. Indeed, in Spain, the joint degree in BAM and Law is one of the more demanded programmes.
Thus, taking into account the great demand and taking advantage and learning from other universities, and aiming for offering educational alternatives to improve the available offer, since the year 2014/2015 it is possible to study simultaneously the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (BAM) and the Bachelor’s Degree in Law and getting both certifications within 5 years.
Main Objective
The main objective of this Joint Bachelor’s Degree is to train versatile professionals with a solid grounding in both business and legal disciplines, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to understand and operate effectively in both economic and legal environments. This prepares graduates to carry out management, advisory, and evaluative tasks within organisations, while also giving them the legal understanding necessary to interpret and apply legislation in professional contexts. The programme aims to offer students wide-ranging opportunities in the labour market by combining business management competencies with legal expertise, making graduates attractive to employers in both public and private sectors.
In summary, the degree is designed to:
- Develop professionals who understand the company as a social and economic reality and are capable of performing management, consulting, and evaluation functions within organisations.
- Equip students with complementary legal training that enhances their ability to navigate legal frameworks relevant to business and society.
- Offer a versatile and in‑demand professional profile that increases employment opportunities across a broad range of sectors, including business, law, public administration, and consultancy.
