Indre campus
Support for students with disabilities and special needs
The University can help you compensate for a particular situation, whether it is temporary or permanent, it can lend you adapted equipment and support you in your study and/or professional project.
Open Monday through Thursday 8:30 to 18:30 and on Fridays from 8:30 am to 18:00.
Medical Facilities
In the University Health Service, you can see doctors, nurses, a gynaecologist, psychologists, a social worker… Do not hesitate to come and meet them if you feel the need to do so!

Sport and Leisure Facilities
SUAPSE is the sports service of the University of Orleans and its branches. Its missions are to make available to all students and staff :
- The organization of physical activities and sports, recognized as an important factor of balance, health and well-being.
- The development of sports for all through the organization of activities on campus.
- The teaching and animation of Physical Activities for Sport and Expression (PASE) for all students and staff of the University.
University professors and temporary teachers are involved in about fifty physical, sports and expressive activities on a weekly basis. Our offer combines diversity and quality.
All the activities offered are free of charge and financed by the Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC) that you pay at the beginning of each school year (except for exchange students who do not pay for any registration fees. For them, the cost will be €45 for the wholoe academic year. ).
Special Facilities
For temporary or permanent difficulties due to health issues or a disability, the Passerelle Handicap (Disability Support Services) can help you, advise you and can provide you with adapted equipment.
Housing
If you have not done a scholarship and/or accommodation request, you can do it now on the CROUS website.
The CROUS of Orléans-Tours offers accommodations in university halls of residence throughout the region.
Logem Loiret, France Loire and Les Résidences de l’Orléanais also offer student accommodations.
Transport
The University of Orleans campus is located south of the city centre. Therefore, depending on whether students live downtown or closer to campus there are several ways for students and staff to access the University.
By car:
The University has plenty of parking lots around campus that are free for students. Some parking lots are reserved for staff and require a professional card to access. Campus is around 15 minutes from the city centre.
By public transport:
In Orléans, public transport is operated by TAO.
Tram A goes through campus and has several stops : Université, Parc Floral, Indien.
Buses 1, 13, 40 and 41 also have stops on or around campus.
It takes approximately 30 minutes from downtown to campus by public transportation.
Meals
To be able to follow in class, it is important to eat well!
To do so, the CROUS of Orléans-Tours offers various places to satisfy your appetite.
Cafeterias offer sandwich, panini or salad formulas menus.
The RUs (University restaurants) offer a great variety of menus including a starter, a main course, cheese and a dessert.

Work placement possibilities
Several options are available to students wishing to combine a paid job and studies:
- The “emplois d'avenir professeur” (jobs for future teachers) that allow you to benefit from a career path and to finance your studies at the same time;
- Student jobs at the University: the University hires each year for short or longer assignments;
- CROUS jobs via the Jobaviz platform.

Events and culture
Discover the Bouillon, a unique cultural centre located in the heart of the University of Orléans' campus.
With a theatre and a club, it receives concerts, dance performances, plays, cinema screenings, but also artist residences and student cultural projects throughout the year.
